After so many requests and the OK from my source, I am officially leaking the new Blackberry Storm OS.

Do this at your own risk, if you brick your phone please refer to Crackberry’s How To Reload the OS on a Nuked/Bricked BlackBerry guide.
INSTRUCTIONS:
Download the Leak, then:
- Back up data on Desktop Manager under Back up/restore option
- Back up your 3rd party apps. Instructions here–> http://forums.crackberry.com/f3/how-…cations-53201/
- Disconnect your BB from Desktop Manager
- Download desired OS to your PC
- Install/run OS to PC
- If you are NOT on Verizon, delete vendor.xml file. It’s located in c:\program files\common files\research in motion\apploader
- Connect BB to Desktop Manager and it should prompt the upgrade. If not click app loader and that should initialize it.
- Do not unplug BB during the process. It will take around 30-60 minutes to complete upgrade.

Do you have the new software that has been release yet that BGR claims to have?
Or do you know how to obtain it? Verizon’s 4.7.0.76 OS ??
I already have .75, and it does work better than .65 but i heard the newest is a bit better as well?
Is there any truth to this claim, and is it possible to obtain?

Thank you for the update. I found that it did fix many of the nuisances. From my experience, to get the update installed correctly, uninstall the existing installation of the BB Desktop/Device Manager and reboot your machine. Then install the 4.7.0.75 executable and follow instructions. Once the update is complete, you may reinstall it again. Thanks again and more power to you!

i am italian and live and work here in ny, i need to type in italian 50% of my time. is there a way to install italian language support on my BB storm? i know verizon doesn’t have the software. How can i do this?
